Creativity..
Like a muscle it develops,
Until your soul she envelops,
Breathing life into dry bones,
Ressurecting art to its throne.

Patience sees seed to flower,
Perseverance weathers seasonal shower,
Trust waits for sunshine gaps,
Strength swims life’s laborious laps,
Till the day beauty unfolds,
In His timely melodious mould.

Blow beneath his wings
Carry the note he sings
Whisper silence to searing storm
Calm his feuding norm
He burns in charred choices
Singed in yesteryear voices
Hands wilted and wasted
Frown faced from the hatred
Cigarette caught in faltering fingers
Halted traces of dignity lingers
He shuffles shoeless feet
Down another darkened street
Haunting hunger, absent shelter
His past writing his future
He listens for the rustle
That stills life’s battling bustle
Hoping that Hope will free
The shackles to his liberty

God’s canvas of contours
Painted of His words
Spelt in coloured splendour
Composing mortal wonder
Amos 4:13 For behold, He who forms mountains, And creates the wind, Who declares to man what his[c] thought is,
And makes the morning darkness, Who treads the high places of the earth—The Lord God of hosts is His name.

Write, write!
With all your musing might
Ink, ink
that wispy wandering kite
Breathe tumultuous thought
into bold being
Write a light
in the dark you’re seeing
Launch the letter,
let it take flight
Dream the fluttering mutter
into crafted delight
And through the windows of your soul
Will the masked untold unfold

Dancing dandelions in the sky
Whispers of earthy colour,
arms stretched dry
Holding out for new wonder
awaiting rain from a clouds’ cry
Spying spring around the corner,
waving winter goodbye

do I pray for love or to love
for the get or to give
tracing a blueprint from above
or roaming the relationship I received
do I pray with a fervour for more
then lament with the less
do I pray for an instant cure
then pause in the melancholy mess
do I pray believing He hears
or find comfort in a ritualistic crutch
do I pray despite the fears
and run when faith requires too much
do I pray free from restriction
or in pretty prose and petty prejudice
do I pray with a revelation or religion
questions unanswered like a faith apprentice
I pray from the Light
that brought me to You
a magnitude of great might
beyond my tangible point of view
I pray to the God
who loved the prostitute and adulteress,
who corrected and did not accuse
who hurt at frailty, fallibility and weakness
i pray to the Man
who invites me to question, embracing my humanity
who constantly alters my perception
and challenges my rudimentary reality
i pray to the Jesus
who awakened new fight against every fiery dart
who guided me through consuming waters
with the prayer-dialogue that changes my heart
